Hotel Proxy offers a powerful software development kit (SDK or "devkit") which is a set of development tools that allows the integration of the booking engine on any hotel’s website and its connection with the hotel’s PMS. Hotel Proxy SDK is provided merely to developers, IT managers or IT oriented individuals that have advanced IT skills.

HotelProxy SDK is a web service which enables PMS applications to determine the availability and retrieve bookings from our online booking engine.

The Hotel Proxy SDK is offered to developers free of charge. 

SDK for Property Management Systems (PMS)

The available actions that our SDK offers are:

1. Availability setting 
2. Reservations retrieval 

The communication is always online with the PMS which should: 

• Periodically connect to the web service and retrieve the new availability status. 
• At regular intervals or when the availability changes on the PMS to connect to the web service and update the availability status.

All the other information that is essential for the operation of the online booking system is defined by the Control Panel of the Hotel Proxy (https://www.hotelproxy.net/admin) during the configuration of the system. 

The user (hotel) can log on to the Control Panel of Hotel Proxy and (depending on rights) to manage the following:

1. Rates & Availability 
2. Special offers and constraints on the reservation 
3. Distribution channels and users 
4. Descriptions (texts/content) and photos 
5. Edit reservation (acceptance, cancellation, etc.) 

Technology

The Web Service implementation technology is Microsoft.Net WCF, based on SOAP 1.2, and uses the wsHttpBinding.
